SENT System
SENT System and its key benefits
Beginning November 1, 2024, non-EU transport companies will be required to register on the SENT platform. Newest regulation mandates that each time said companies carry goods into or across Poland towards the EU, they must submit a notification. Importantly, this registration requirement will extend to EU-based foreign companies in 2025.
Benefits of registering in SENT system
- Registering in SENT is a legal requirement, ensuring full adherence to current regulations.
- SENT allows for continuous monitoring of transported goods, boosting security and transparency in logistics operations.
- Proper use of SENT helps avoid significant financial penalties for non-compliance. Those may range from 10,000 PLN (over 2300€) to as much as 100,000 PLN (over 23.000€) for serious violations.
